MR adam warwick
Squadron Roles: Civilian Instructor
Length of time in the Corps: 18 years
Previous Squadrons: -
“I first joined the Air Cadets in 2009 as a cadet at 2214 (Usworth) Squadron.
“My most notable achievement being flying solo in a vigilant motor glider at just 16, as well as multiple camps and inter-squadron competitions.
“In 2013 I left the Air cadets to pursue a career in the Royal air Force as an Aircraft technician, working on front line fighter aircraft like Tornado and Typhoon as well as the C-130 Hercules transport fleet before leaving the service in 2025.
“Throughout my time in the RAF I still maintained a presence at 2214 Squadron as a service instructor, passing down my years of knowledge and experience both as a cadet and in the RAF to the future of the RAFAC and potentially even the RAF.
“Now retired from RAF service I have continued my commitments to 2214 Squadron and hope to transition in to uniformed service with the RAFAC very soon.”
